TSY-T2 Water Vapour Permeability Tester conforms to standards of ASTM E 398, ISO/CD 15106-1, TAPPI T523, JIS K 7129, NF H00 044 and so on. It is applicable in water vapour permeability test of barrier materials including plastic films and laminated films. Users can control and adjust the technical index of packaging materials by testing the water vapour transmission rate.
1. Test principle
Place the specimen between the dry and humid chambers, the sensor located in the test chamber analyzes the change of humidity and traces the time from lower limited value preset to upper limited value preset. Determine the mass of water vapour transmission and water vapour transmission rate by continuous test and analysis.
