  Shadow Play, one of the oldest drama forms in China, is named Lamp Shadow Play. It originated from the Han Dynasty, prevailed in the Tang Song, flourished in Ming and Qing Dynasties, up to the present people still reserved its primitive style and feature in Chinese folk. People select the superior cowhide as its raw material, after paring, rubbing, washing, engraving, repainting and otherwise 24 craft steps, and then people engrave it for more than 3000 knives with special care by their own hands. The artistic creativity of shadow figure derived its technique and style from the Chinese Han Dynasty silk painting, portraits of stone, brick painting and Tang Song temple mural, its modeling is exquisite and unique, engraving is exquisite, color painting is elegant, and it totally manifested that Chinese traditional culture is broad and profound; the folk art is pure and honest. West Qin shadow figure is the representative one of Shaanxi east road shadow figure. It has smooth line, it's smart and exquisite, the character is lifelike, it has extremely high appreciation and collection value.
